Science & Socials

Ms. Mullin's Grade 12 Biology students were doing an experiment to determine the catalyst of enzymes when I stopped by today, while Ms. Sheppard's Grade 7 Socials class was engaged in a bridge building activity. The hands on activities are excellent ways that our students are engaged with their learning.

PHSS Intramural Indoor Soccer

Our Indoor Soccer season is in full swing after the Spring Break.  The matches have been exciting and provide students and staff an opportunity to participate, as players or spectators Monday to Thursdays!  Thanks to Mr. Mo for organizing this!

Spring Break Fun

We had some fun in Jasper on our way to and from Edmonton, over the Spring Break.  The snow and cold weather are behind us and it is time to look forward to some nice Sunshine Coast spring weather.

Grad Parent Meeting Tonight

I did a call out, but this is just another reminder of tonight's Grad Parent Meeting at 6:30 pm in Mr. Stoddart's Room.  I know that parents' input, regarding some of the activities surrounding grad, will be greatly appreciated.

Pottery

I have posted a picture of one of pieces of pottery that was glazed in Mr. Shaw's Art class.  A few weeks back the pottery was on a shelf in the Art room awaiting its transformation.  Very nice job on your vase Nick!

More Pictures: Biking Stanley Park

Having some fun, as part of our Physical Activity Field Trip!

Physical Activity Day: Cycling along the Stanley Park Seawall

The small group that went cycling really enjoyed the day.  We went around the Stanley Park Seawall to Granville Island and back.  I will post more photos later.

Hopefully I am back!

I had a clitch with Blogspot yesterday.  I hope to post some photos of our PHSS Physical Activity Day later today.
