We blog at PHSS to enhance communication with the school and parents/guardians. It has been an effective tool for many students and parents that take advantage of checking the blogs regularly.
Hopefully our students and families with expand the use of the technology provided. It should enhance student learning and accountability.
As SD 46 improves the wireless network, more internet connections will become available for students who bring their own devices (BYOD)-- this should be happening in the next month or so.

PHL Playoffs
In PHL Playoff action yesterday Mr.Stoddart's team (Backpackers) won a hard fought battle 6-4 to advance to the PHL finals. It was an excellent game and all students should be commended for their efforts. The final will pit Mr. Mo's A-Team vs Mr. Stoddart's Backpackers-- it should be a great game.
Iron Chef
Ms. Sheppard's students incorporated orange into their desserts, as part of their Iron Chef activity. As one of the judges I can say that the students did a great job. The quality of their presentations and the flavour of their desserts was fantastic. Great job!!
